Almost nothing infuriates us more than having something blatantly stolen from us. Like having our peaceful existence and freedoms stolen from us by young street violent anarchist thugs who are in our face interrupting our natural and lawful rights and breaking things.

Even worse than the anarchists’ violations of our liberties and damaging our property is that they are being not only encouraged to keep up the civil unrest exhausting our nation but actually are now hired by and professionally taught to do so by a former President of The United States. See the article on Obama’s (BO’s) plans to stop Trump and socialize America with Organizing for America, his huge organization of over 30,000 paid anarchists and plans to open offices in over 250 cities across America.

Our nation will probably endure this miserable wrath, but shouldn’t have to. There are plenty of laws being broken and not being enforced. What is that about? Are mayors and governors (maybe Democrats) all in politically with their support? Probably in many instances. Why aren’t all sheriffs enforcing their laws? Where were they at the UC Berkley riot that had 150 masked agitators injuring at least 6 people and causing $100,000 worth of damage on the campus after depriving Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopooulos of his 1^st Amendment right to speak?

WELL THERE IS A NEW ‘BIG SHERIFF’ IN EVERY TOWN

‘Big Sheriff’ is an extreme figure of speech. Of course, our local sheriff has complete autonomy for jurisdiction in his county. But for the purpose of my figure of speech, I’ll refer to our wonderful new Attorney General of the U.S., Jeff Sessions, as the big sheriff for the federal government and he is no wallflower political hack like the last two phonies that were in the pocket of BO. Given time to get established and get his confident team in place, he will probably deal with violations to Federal Laws. Local laws are going to come down to county sheriffs finding their patriotic backbones, unlike the passive sheriff who shirked his jurisdictional responsibility by deferring to the Feds which resulted in the Feds murdering LaVoy Finicum in Grant County, Oregon. CUTTING OFF THE HEAD STOPS THE FUNDING TO THE ANARCHISTS

Stopping the funding stops the paid street stooges who haven’t much of an idea about anything but repeating the mantra they hear and are told to rant, that we are all fed up with. The stooges, their placement via buses, their signs, and their professionally orchestrated actions largely dissolve away when the money is gone. Grounds for arrest and prosecution must be identified and the pursuit of justice begun.

Jasper in his article ‘George Soros’ War on America: Time to Prosecute the Billionaire’s Global Crime Spree,’ “Many of them, no doubt, were hired in response to the advertisements for paid anti-Trump protesters that appeared on Craigslist and other media in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, Denver, Philadelphia, New York, and elsewhere. Many of these “spontaneous” protests/riots would not have occurred without organized efforts involving hundreds of buses transporting thousands of protesters/rioters, many of whom appear to have traveled across state lines.

“Many of the anti-Trump rioters, then, would appear not only to have violated state laws against rioting and inciting to riot, but also federal law against the same crime. Specifically, the rioters could be (and should be) charged under Title 18 U.S. Code § 2101, which provides

“(a) Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent —

“(1) to incite a riot; or

“(2) to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot; or

“(3) to commit any act of violence in furtherance of a riot; or

“(4) to aid or abet any person in inciting or participating in or carrying on a riot or committing any act of violence in furtherance of a riot….

“Shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

“The definition section of 18 U.S. Code § 2102 defines the crime of rioting this way:

“(a) As used in this chapter, the term “riot” means a public disturbance involving (1) an act or acts of violence by one or more persons part of an assemblage of three or more persons, which act or acts shall constitute a clear and present danger of, or shall result in, damage or injury to the property of any other person or to the person of any other individual or (2) a threat or threats of the commission of an act or acts of violence by one or more persons part of an assemblage of three or more persons having, individually or collectively, the ability of immediate execution of such threat or threats, where the performance of the threatened act or acts of violence would constitute a clear and present danger of, or would result in, damage or injury to the property of any other person or to the person of any other individual.

“Obviously, the anti-Trump rioters who were arrested for starting fires and committing other acts of violence and public disturbance should be prosecuted under applicable state laws, and those who traveled interstate to do the same should also be prosecuted under federal law as well. But what about the organizers of the riots, those who hired the rioters and transported the perpetrators across state lines to engage in this criminal activity? Are they not also culpable under the “aid and abet” provisions cited above? Are they not also liable for prosecution under the federal conspiracy statute (18 U.S. Code § 371) which provides:

“If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”

I might add that BO’s ‘Organizing for America,‘ (OFA) needs taking down along with the Soros group of funders and organizational heads whose clandestine goal is the overthrow of our system. Courtesies to an ex-President be damned! BO’s corruption and many machinations have been overlooked and tolerated for too long. He is blatantly an outright anti-American with questionable past with no previous records to show for except his sorry legacy that he can’t run from. Identify his illegal transgressions and bust him. He’s creating a strong new legacy for himself, a very deceitful one that is all evil. Saul Alinsky would be proud.

All we need are law enforcement and Constitutional prosecutors and judges to, as Barney Fife would say, ‘NIP IT IN THE BUD!’

‘Organizing for America’ (OFA) is the platform for the most dangerous man in American politics, our former Liar-in-Chief, failed President with the socialists’ mouth that won’t shut up, Trojan Horse President with no records to show for prior to his presidency and lastly a man with a legacy he can’t run from as a result of his presidency. Would you believe it actually pains me to use the detestable name of a guy I loathe so much, so I’ll just refer to motor mouth as BO.

Well BO landed himself a sweet gig from ‘Daddy Warbucks’ Soros and his minions. States Paul Sperry of the New York Post, “Organizing for Action is drowning in money, by nonprofit standards.

“OFA’s big donors are members of the George Soros-founded Democracy Alliance, a donors’ consortium for left-wing billionaires devoted to radical political change.”

Wikileaks states, “The formation of Organizing for America was announced by then-President-Elect Obama on January 17, 2009.^[3]

“Organizing for America was a community organizing project of the Democratic National Committee.^[1]^[2]^[^{dead link}^] Initially founded after the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, the group sought to mobilize supporters in favor of Obama’s legislative priorities, particularly health care reform. Eventually, the organization played a role in the midterm elections of 2010. Later, it became the grassroots arm of Obama for America. After Obama’s second inauguration, it was reorganized as Organizing for Action and returned to its previous mission of organizing around the President’s agenda.”

Breitbart News reports that “The New York Post writer Paul Sperry wrote that former President Barack Obama is setting up a “shadow White House” in Washington, DC, for organizing anti-Trump protests nationwide and “rebuilding the ravaged Democrat Party.”

From Perry’s report, ‘How Obama is scheming to sabotage Trump’s presidency,’ “When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.”

As FrontPage reported, Obama has rented a $5.3 million, 8,200-square-foot, walled mansion in Washington’s Embassy Row that he is using to command his community organizing cadres. Michelle Obama will join the former president there as will the Obama Foundation. To stay on track, Obama wants his former labor secretary, Tom Perez, to win the chairmanship of the DNC in a party election later this month. “It’s time to organize and fight, said Perez who appears to be gaining on front-runner and jihadist Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.). “We must stand up to protect President Obama’s accomplishments,” adding, “We’re going to build the strongest grassroots organizing force this country has ever seen.”

NONSTOP PROTEST AGAINST INVENTED OUTRAGE

Also, from another Perry article, ‘How Obama is bankrolling a nonstop protest against invented outrage‘ “The senseless protests we’re seeing break out on the campuses of the University of Missouri, Yale and other colleges, as well as on bridges and highway overpasses and outside police stations, are precisely the kind of thing Obama was trained to organize while attending leftist agitation schools founded by Chicago communist Saul Alinsky. He learned to a fare-thee-well how to “rub raw the sores of discontent.”

“These irritating, self-absorbed, belligerent brats will “hands-up, don’t shoot” themselves into every cobwebbed corner of society.

“Now Obama is returning the favor of his Alinsky masters, training and cloning an army of social justice bullies to carry on his revolution to “fundamentally transform America.” He’s doing it mainly through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action, or OFA, which will outlast his administration.

My Brother’s Keeper agitates for “school discipline reform” — that is, touchy-feely alternatives to suspensions and expulsions — and other measures to “improve outcomes for boys and young men of color.”

“All three of these federally sponsored projects have crossover with the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street movements, both of which Obama embraces. They share manpower and resources, as well as radical agendas, while coordinating activities with nonprofit ACORN clones, who are being secretly bankrolled through Justice Department subprime settlement funds extracted from banks.

“In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.

Mitchell Shaw reported in Mid-November last year in his New American magazine article, ‘Trump “Protests” Manufactured by Leftist Elites and Manned by Professional Protesters,’ “Beginning in late October 2016, ads for paid protesters began appearing on Craigslist in Pittsburgh, Boston, Columbus, Denver, Philadelphia, and other cities. The ads, which were all carbon copies of each other, read:

“Each ad carried a phone number to call, which was answered by either a Google Voice messaging system or a voicemail belonging to the Community Outreach Group (COG), a for-profit organization formed by Planned Parenthood as “a vendor of large-scale advocacy,” according to a report by Fox News. While the ads were placed before the election, they are still active, which may indicate that the group is still funding protests.

“Other leftist organizations have placed similar ads, according to Fox News. MoveOn.org placed a Craigslist ad that said, in part, “We only want protesters under the age of 30…. We prefer minorities.” In other words, the optics are better if the streets are filled with black and brown young people carrying ready-made signs and chanting prepared slogans. Washington Community Action Network posted an ad on Craigslist offering $15 an hour. Some protesters later told Fox News that they were recruited by the ad. Again, the ad reads, in part, “Students, women, and minorities are urged to apply.” It appears that since a sufficient degree of outrage — that which would lead those young minorities to take to the streets on their own — could not be drummed up; it had to be manufactured. And hired out.

“Taking the arrestees as a sampling, it appears that 70 percent of the “protesters” have no one but themselves to blame for being dissatisfied with the election results, since they did not participate in the basic function of citizenship by voting in the election. Of course, if they were among those who were being paid for their “participation,” their lack of an “I Voted” sticker makes much more sense. It was simply not a job requirement. If that is the case — and it is likely, given the facts — then their motivation was at least partially monetary.

“The money — coming from Planned Parenthood, George Soros‘ MoveOn.org, Washington Community Action Network, and other leftist organizations — has helped create a false image that these protests are the spontaneous actions of angry, scared, young voters who are pushing back against a system that they see as targeting them. In reality, it is the very leftist organizations behind these “protests” that are targeting the participants. Once arrested, they will have criminal records. The organizations behind the lawlessness will simply “move on” to the next event.”

OBAMA’S SHADOW PRESIDENCY

States Matthew Vadum at CanadaFreePress.com in his article ‘Obama’s Shadow Presidency,’ “On its website, the group claims that there are “5 million Americans who’ve taken action” with OFA, and that those individuals “are part of a long line of people who stand up and take on the big fights for social justice, basic fairness, equal rights, and expanding opportunity.” Among its key issues are “turning up the heat on climate change deniers,” comprehensive immigration reform (which includes mass amnesty), “telling the stories of the millions who are seeing the life-saving benefits of Obamacare,” fighting for “a woman’s health care” which is “a basic right,” and redistributing wealth from those who earned it to those who didn’t.

“Former U.S. Rep. Bob Edgar (D-Penn.), sounded the alarm about OFA in 2013, suggesting the group was dangerous to democracy. “If President Obama is serious about his often-expressed desire to rein in big money in politics, he should shut down Organizing for Action and disavow any plan to schedule regular meetings with its major donors,” he said as president of the left-wing group Common Cause. “Access to the President should never be for sale.”

“With its reported promise of quarterly presidential meetings for donors and ‘bundlers’ who raise $500,000, Organizing For Action apparently intends to extend and deepen the pay-to-play Washington culture that Barack Obama came to prominence pledging to end,” Edgar said. “The White House’s suggestion this week that this group will somehow be independent is laughable.”

“But Edgar’s admonitions were ignored and since then Organizing for Action has thrived and grown rich, just like the Obamas.”

All who understand what America’s values are truly about are fed up with these in our face blatant disruptions and interferences with our liberties. These paid anarchists need being legally dealt with. Many of the anti-Trump rioters appear not only to have violated state laws against rioting and inciting to riot, but also federal law against the same crime and those responsible for starting fires and committing other acts of violence and public disturbance should be prosecuted under applicable federal law as well.

Where are our police, prosecutors and judges is the question? National Guard? Mayors and governors need to man up, or I should say Patriot UP and get ‘er done!

Then BO’s funding needs being dealt with.

SOME GOOD NEWS: On January 24, 2017, U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz from Utah introduced the Local Enforcement for Local Lands Act (HR 622), which would strip the Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service of its law enforcement capacity. If we could get that to pass, it would be a good beginning.

As Ron Paul said in 1997: “All government power is ultimately gun power and serves the interests of those who despise or do not comprehend the principles of liberty. The gun in the hands of law-abiding citizens serves to hold in check arrogant and aggressive government. Guns in the hands of the bureaucrats do the opposite. The founders of this country fully understood this fact.”

“Why does US Department of Agriculture (USDA) need submachine guns? The agency’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) is requesting .40 Caliber semiautomatic submachine guns along with 320,000 rounds of hollow point ammo.

“Why is the US Postal Service soliciting proposals for assorted small arms ammunition?

“Why has the Social Security Administration requested 174,000 rounds of hollow-point bullets?

“Why does the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which oversees the National Weather Service, need 46,000 rounds of hollow point ammo?

DOES THAT SEEM ODD? Obama was not in power in 1997, but Bill Clinton was with his 25 members of the Council on Foreign Relations in his cabinet. To understand why that was bad for our Republic read ‘Who the Establishment Really Is.’ with members explaining how bad they are in their own words.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE DOES THE EPA NEED A SWAT TEAM?

“For what purpose does the EPA need a SWAT team?” States Ernest Istook in his article “Too Many Federal Agencies Have Created Their Own Private Armies” at freerepublic.com, “Does the Environmental Protection Agency really need armed agents? Outside of law enforcement, federal agencies now employ over 25,000 people as armed agents. They are more than guards. They’ve become like private armies that can push around private citizens.

“Over 70 non-military federal agencies now have their own armed agents.

“You expect armed agents with the FBI, the U.S. Marshal Service and the Border Patrol. But the EPA? The Fish & Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, even the Social Security Administration and the National Institutes of Health? Even the Department of Education and the Department of Housing and Urban Development have their own armed agents.

“As do the Food and Drug Administration. And Veterans Affairs. Even the Government Printing Office and the National Zoo. And of course the Library of Congress

“Collectively, over 25,000 individuals now work as armed agents of federal agencies not usually associated with law enforcement.

“These are not just guards. These agents go out on raids to enforce the orders of federal bureaucracies. No bureaucracy should have a private army to enforce its orders against the American people.”

BLM, USFS, FISH & GAME, EPA AND IRS TO SYRIA, IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN

Re-assigning these agencies is the perfect answer to relieving our beleaguered Western States’ land owners of their besiegement and at the same time finding a fitting mission for those fine people in these agencies who are dedicated to making a difference in other people’s lives.

For those in these agencies so eager to play Rambo with all their expensive SWAT Team gear and ‘Government Motors’ (GM never paid back over $10 billion) vehicles, paramilitary vehicles, helicopters and assorted other toys, such as robots and drones, a truly fitting challenge worthy of all their training and expense would be to manage the land and lives of ISIS, the Shiites, Sunnis and the Taliban.

They try to convince us that they know more about land management and what is best for others than anyone. (Yet, The American Lands Council reports that the Federal government spends $16.17 an acre and gets a return of $11.79 an acre for forest lands they manage in Western lands for a loss of $4.38 per acre, contrasted to forest lands managed by the states themselves spending $2.56 an acre and getting a return of $37.16 an acre for a $34.60 an acre profit. This should be an easy sell to Idaho citizens if they were just made aware of real facts.) … Just saying… back to the sales pitch.

THERE IS MUCH THESE AGENCIES CAN DO

There is much for the depressed people in those Arab lands to benefit from with the help of these caring paramilitary agencies such as the planting of trees, protecting their new forests, saving endangered species, managing fishing harvests and livestock and the safest and most efficient use of all their precious water. The EPA will do wonders for saving a lot of Arab oil output for decades by ramping up even more Arab windmills, solar panels, electric cars and high-speed electric trains.

Arab sheiks have a lot to learn about redistribution of their wealth and the IRS can relieve them of a large part of it to pay for all this folderol. And guess what? There just happens to be a perfect man that just became available for leading such a great re-assignment endeavor. Barack Hussein Obama is perfect for leading these challenged ‘govmint’ employees with all his wisdom about Muslims and how things should be. Actually his ancestors were from this Arab neighborhood and were, interestingly, actually slave traders. He’ll fit right in. All will be real good. Plus these BLM, Forest Service, Fish & Game, EPA and IRS folks practically worshiped him. Also, he’d probably do it all for free, now that he’s loaded, just for the legacy building since his intended legacy here is rapidly dissolving away.

THERE ARE DELIGHTFUL TRADE-OFFS FOR ALL THIS

Well, firstly these once heralded agencies will no longer be a tax drain on our system since the IRS can soak the sheiks for funding all the good the agencies will do watching after everything. That alone is worth saying sayonara to, not to mention that ‘we the people’ will be getting rid of some ‘govmint’ employees who are overpaid, inefficient and can’t be fired.

Now lastly, probably the biggest upside of this re-assigning of these dedicated Americans would be the recalling of our wonderful military troops in these god-forsaken semblances of civilization. I suggest our troops be billeted back here in our Western Lands where they could breathe most freely nearest true God-fearing Americans, with traditional values who understand what working, budgeting and self-reliance is all about and away from the extremely far left socialists.

Although these battle-worn troops deserve the respite in their new living conditions they will be available for dispatching as needed by President Trump to occasionally hammer down on the George Soros-funded professional violent anarchist rioterscurrently tearing up college campuses and American cities. These troops can efficiently handle the felonists’ acts with arrests for prosecution and hopefully stiff fines and incarceration sentences that locals are ineptly capable of or politically afraid of dealing with. They also would be perfect for backing up border control and cartel busting here and in Mexico.

That’s right in Mexico. Hey, Mexican police and military have invaded our country and had skirmishes with our Border Patrol many times in the past. They have been practically chauffeuring all the illegal aliens passing through their country on trains to our borders while giving cartel drug rings free passage. When you have a leaking faucet, you fix it. This large pipeline is pouring into America and it has to be plugged, and we have just the right repair company for the problem. It’s called the ‘President Trump Fixer Upper Company’ comprised of the finest employees on earth and the corrupt Mexican military won’t want to deal with it. It would be a true reckoning.

COS WOULD NEVER USE 38 STATE LEGISLATURES FOR RATIFICATION TODAY

There is no way in today’s political climate that a Convention of the States (COS) Article V Constitutional Convention’s (Con-Con) delegates would send new amendments to all of the state legislatures for three-quarters of them to ratify. Look at how much infighting and stagnation exists in our US Congress or for that matter in our statehouse here in Idaho. Then multiply that times 38 states. No, there is a much safer way of doing it in their mindset. Instead, a special ‘ratifying convention’ of select, like-minded delegates would be ‘made to order’ and is identified in Article V right after the word or. The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Proponents of an Article V Constitutional Convention strongly assure us that the process is extremely safe because 38 state legislatures have to ratify them before they go to the president for signing into law. They want us to believe that. They would rather us not be aware of the alternative after the word or. Ratifying conventions. Sure, they will deny this.

Regular amendments passed by the US Congress have a tough time getting ratified in state legislatures. There also are actually 6 amendments that have been passed by Congress that have not yet been ratified which were proposed from 1789 to 1978. Of 11,000 attempts to amend the U.S. Constitution, only 27 amendments have passed so Con-Con proponents truly believe that to accomplish their ends they must circumvent US Congress via a Con-Con where their carefully selected delegates could have their way with our Constitution.

HERE’S WHY A CON-CON WOULD USE SPECIAL RATIFYING CONVENTIONS

Who knows how complex resulting amendments would be? Or, how many amendments would come out of a convention or even if our Constitution itself would survive? Twice before, our 1787 Constitutional Convention and Amendment 21’s repealing of Prohibition, special ‘Ratifying Conventions’ were used instead of state legislatures. Why?

Our sage founders who knew tyranny first hand and, as realists of their day, knew the 13 colonies would not ratify, instead, they used Ratifying Conventions in nine states. Also, repealing Prohibition would not have happened in state legislatures like Utah, so following Article V’s or, ‘by conventions…,’ ratifying conventions were used.

There are many well-funded calls for a Con-Con: Convention of the States (COS), Article V Caucus (of state legislators), American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force, and Compact for America. Listed along with these conservative groups have been progressive liberal organizations, such as Convention USA, Amend America, ArticleV.org (“the Inter-Occupy Article V Work Group”), Call a Convention, and Wolf-PAC. These groups claim to favor only a “limited” convention to propose one amendment or a few limited amendments.

States JW Malloy of Post Falls, ID, “In 1788, James Madison, speaking of an Article V convention, said it “would no doubt contain individuals of insidious views, who, under the mask of seeking alterations popular in some parts … might have the dangerous opportunity of sapping the very foundations of the fabric [of the Constitution]. ‘Popular alterations might ostensibly balance the budget, limit terms, define marriage, or ban flag-burning. Individuals of insidious views need just one popular cause with which to con us into trusting them, but in 1990, asked specifically whether a Con-Con could be limited to a single issue, Judge Robert Bork, former Solicitor General, acting Attorney General, and judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit responded, “…I do not see how a convention could be limited to one topic once it had been called.’”

The power driven globalist forces, such as George Soros, behind the funding of all these many diverse calls for a Con-Con would not risk to chance the complexities of state legislature ratifications with committees, legal research, filibustering, gerrymandering, endless debate and prioritization that could render results being extremely difficult to achieve in any timely fashion. Then multiply those activities times 38! No. They would wisely choose, like the two instances before, to use ratifying conventions that would assuredly be comprised of baggage carrying special interests delegates who would be selected to do the convention’s bidding. Some might say these delegates would be very well paid, extremely loyal, all-in, single-minded, baggage carrying knuckle-dragging turncoat maggots. But I wouldn’t say that because it sounds a little undignified. They are money hungry idiots, socialists or deluded neo-cons.

THE REALITY OF THE CONVENTION’S CAPABILITIES

Quoting Christian Gomez of the New American magazine, “Well-meaning conservatives who advocate for a constitutional convention fail to recognize that once Congress convenes a convention it cannot be undone and no predetermined rules or limitations, adopted by either Congress or the states, will have any bearing on what the convention delegates may choose to do or propose. As the representatives of the sovereign will of the people-at-large in each state, convention delegates would have free latitude to propose any changes they see fit, including the writing of an entirely new constitution, along with changes to the mode of ratification, so as to guarantee the adoption of their amendments. This scenario is known as a “runaway” convention, and it is not without historical precedent.

“The Continental Congress originally tasked the delegates assembled at the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention of 1787 with “the sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation.” At the time, the Articles of Confederation (AOC) was the law of the land. Article XIII of the Articles of Confederation specifically stipulated that “any alterations” made to them must be unanimously “confirmed by the legislatures of every State.” (Emphasis added.)

“Both of these mandates were clearly exceeded. The delegates chose to replace the Articles with an entirely new federal constitution. They also altered the mode of ratification from being ‘confirmed by the legislatures of every State,’ in Article XIII of the AOC, to “the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof,” in Article V of the new Constitution. (Emphasis added.)”

REALLY, ALL THAT COUNTS IS UNDERSTANDING JUST ONE THING:

Why should anybody believe that laws from new amendments would magically be followed any more than current law? All these righteous sounding pitches by well-funded professional poker faced LOBBYI$T$ promising panacea if we open the door to a Con-Con are a clandestine front for very nefarious forces to get control of our government. Nothing less than our freedoms, sovereignty, and our grandchildren’s’ future are at stake.

THE SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM

The solution to the problem of the federal government’s consolidation of power and accumulation of crushing debt does not lie in the changing of the Constitution, but in the consistent application of its enumerated powers and the 10th Amendment. Adherence to existing law, its enforcement and prosecution of violations of it are all we need.

If states are so disgusted with the ineptness of the US Congress and are unable to comply with their mandates, then the word of the day should be to, as my Green Bay Packers hero, Arron Rodgers might say: N-U-L-L-I-F-Y! The states should quit whining and kowtowing and man-up. I repeat, nullification should be the order of the day. Idaho’s legislature and Governor Otter knows how to nullify. But do they have the wisdom and courage to do that hard work that needs doing?

Don’t listen to what LOBBYI$T say. Just follow our U.S. and State Constitutions and deal with it.
